Day 10-14 Nice
The Land of the Rich and Famous, the Jet-setters.
You’ve arrived. Welcome to the French Riviera aka “Cote d’Azur”! The southeast coast of Provence, France, and the Mediterranean coastline which stretches from the Italian border, is sprinkled with some of the world’s most popular beaches and destinations, including Monaco, Nice, Cannes, and Saint Tropez.
Where Parisians flock to summer and celebrities come to play, Saint-Tropez epitomizes the region’s glamour dating back to the 1950s, when influential French stars like Brigitte Bardot and Coco Chanel began vacationing there. Today Saint-Tropez still glitters with a super-yacht-filled gulf and the heart of the Riviera.
Cannes known for the film festival keeps its glitzy charm for the rest of the year with the palm-lined palm-lined Promenade de la Croisette flanked by the sand, beach, and luxury shops.
Edgy Nice, the largest city and capital of the region, enjoys a similarly grand seaside setting, along with glorious architecture, a charming old town, and great food.
