Day 1-3 Lake Como, Italy

ACCOMMODATIONS:

The Metropole & Suisse Hotel is located in the main square of Como, the heart of the city, and directly overlooks the lake of the same name. The Metropole Hotel boasts a long tradition of welcoming the city and has been hosting tourists from all over the world for over 120 years.

The building in which the hotel is housed has the constraint of the Fine Arts.
In fact, the ground floor and the first floor of the beautiful nineteenth-century facade were the subjects of an embellishment intervention by Terragni, the Como rationalist whose centenary was celebrated in 2004 of birth.

The hotel’s privileged position, by the lake and at the same time in the center of the city of Como, and the attentive presence of the owner’s family in the care of hospitality, have made the Metropole Suisse a regular stop for generations of tourists who wish to know and visit Lake Como.

ACTIVITIES in COMO:

  • Private boat ride on the Lakes of Como with my favorite Captain

Lake Como is among the most scenic of Italy’s northern lakes, lined with historic villas and gardens. With this boat tour and your Captain, admire sights that are inaccessible by ferry or car and enjoy the flexibility of a private experience. Set off from Como to cruise past Villa del Balbianello and Villa Carlotta, snap photos of Tremezzo and stop in Bellagio for lunch and shopping and get a glimpse of the lake’s island and waterfall.

  • Brunate Funicular and Villa Olmo and The Grandeur Of Como

Enjoy a full-day tour discovering Italy’s silk capital, Como. Our favorite guide will disclose the history of the landmarks of the main town of the lake, where major silk producers built their factories and famous inventor Alessandro Volta was born. After strolling through the historic center among ancient buildings and local workshops, we will head to the majestic Villa Olmo.

Next head to the Funicolare Como-Brunate where you will take the funicular and enjoy breathtaking views of the lakes and mountains below.

ACTIVITIES in ST. TROPEZ, FRANCE

  • Private tour of Saint Maxime / Port -Grimaud / Sainte Maxime

Start in the cozy town of Saint Tropez,  It is the most fashionable and snobbish resort on French Riviera. Saint-Tropez is full of fancy, famous millionaires, fashion models, and cosmopolitan artists real or imaginary and its Port contains luxury yachts from all over the world.

  • After Saint-Tropez you’ll have a break in the cozy town Saint-Maxime.

There you’ll visit the Old town with its amazing shops, with the unforgettable view of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

A privileged destination between Provence and French Riviera, Sainte-Maxime is a true haven of peace between Mediterranean wild shores and Provençal authentic traditions.  Located in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Maxime will seduce you: turquoise waters, endless beaches, a Provençal soul with its olive oil and wine producers, its typical small restaurants or its paved alleys with a singular charm…We promise you will live unique experiences here! Starting your day by wandering all along the sea, with your feet in the sand while smelling the sea air… then, practice the stand-up paddle at La Pointe des Sardinaux (a must-see place called Petite Corse, where you will see the most beautiful sunrises!).

After a lunch by the sea, on La Nartelle beach, rewarded by the European label Pavillon Bleu for its water quality, you will walk through the paved streets of the old town, featuring authentic decor and atmosphere. Lover of activities or thrills will opt for a natural activity such as a treetop adventure course beneath stone pine, typical trees in our area.

Go for a walk among vineyards and taste the famous South of France rosé wines, with Provence olives to be nibbled, of course!

  • Lunch Reservation (Not included)
  • Wine Tasting (Optional)

Then end with the city called Port-Grimaud. This city is nicknamed “Little Venise”, with its fictional streets, small areas, channels for promenade…..

Modern city on water. It is located in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It is composed of multi-colored, completely different from each other fishing houses.

Port Grimaud is the sea-facing part of Grimaud, in a natural bay to the west of Saint-Tropez on the French Riviera. It is a water-based village designed by Francois Spoerry, a famous 20th-century architect, in 1966 in which the streets almost seem to emerge from the water. The town can only be accessed by boat or on foot.

After Port Grimaud, we will finally reach the cozy town of Saint-Tropez to end this amazing day.

  • Saint Tropez and Ramatuelle Tour

Visit the Port of Saint Tropez and Citadel.  Though Saint-Tropez is famous for its glamour and glitz, the city also has a rich and eventful past. The St-Tropez Citadel (Citadelle de Saint-Tropez) is a prime example, having been the town’s crown jewels since the 17th century, and one of the few monuments of its magnitude to still stand today in France’s southern coastline. It is one of the city’s most visited historical and cultural sites, both for its history and its panoramic views over the Bay.

Then onto Ramatuelle,  an attractive perched village set high above the Mediterranean sea of the Saint-Tropez peninsula. The village was originally founded here to escape the pirates who terrorized the villages along the Mediterranean coastline.

  • Le Club 55 Beach Club, Saint Tropez on the beach of Pampelonne.

The legendary address has retained all of its charms in spite of its success. There are dozens of restaurants along the beach, but for decades Club 55 has been the place to be.

The place where the rich, the famous, and the wannabe of Saint Tropez will be hanging out during the summer months. With a casual style and everything you can possibly want in a beach club, the legendary Club 55 had been open since its creation in 1955.

Its philosophy is summed up in one sentence, “Here the customer is not the king…because he’s a friend.”

Whilst you are here, don’t miss a trip to the boutique. This beach “Bazaar”, with its own relaxed yet chic style, has everything that you might need for the beach or elsewhere

Reserved 2 Beach Beds (34 euro each) and 1 Umbrella (14 euro)

L’Opera is a unique experience in the heart of Saint-Tropez village. Built as an arena, the restaurant mixes refinement and exceptional gastronomy.
