Day 1-2 Vienna
From the evening sky at Belvedere to the streets of Graben and Kärntner Strasse, every bit of Vienna feels magical during Christmas in Europe. Those lucky enough to be in Vienna will explore the fantasy-like markets and beautiful strolls around the city in the evenings.

Day 3-5 Salzburg, Austria
Considered to be one of the oldest Christmas markets in not just Europe but the whole world, Salzburg Christkindlmarkt is known to be rooted in its age-old traditions and cultural values. Dating back to the 15th century, Salzburg serves as one of the traditional cities with a strong historical background for those who are gearing up for one of the best places to spend Christmas in Europe.

Your journey begins with a stop in Durnstein (the Legend of Robinhood) located in the gorgeous Wachau region. You’ll visit the Castle of Duernstein where Richard the Lionheart was captured shortly before Christmas 1192 near Vienna.
The drive continues to Lake Attersee where the world-known artist Gustav Klimt spent every summer painting most of his landscape pictures and along the entire lake from Seewalchen to the village of Unterach, sometimes referred to as Little Venice.
Next is the quaint and charming village of Mondsee. The village is home to the Sound of Music Wedding Church, where the wedding scene of the world-famous movie Sound of Music was filmed. After eight hours exploring one of Austria’s best Sightseeing Routes, your private tour will conclude with drop-off at your Salzburg City hotel.
Day 6-7 Munich, Germany
You will hear the church bells sound in the air and know that it is Christmastime in Munich. The sky over Munich is the dull silver of old coins and hung with fat, theatrical clouds. A holiday ritual is the shredding of shiny paper in the town of lighted red and green twinkling bulbs.
Families pull Christmas trees on sleds through the streets. Merrymakers cluster at fir-garlanded sheds set up inside the courtyard of the Baroque Residenz Palace. It is Christmastime in Munich.

Day 8-9 Baden Baden, Germany
