Want a front-row seat? She can get it and more.

Imagine soaring across the desert in Dubai in a hot air balloon, or enjoying a private yacht off the coast of Italy. No matter what your vacation dreams are, Lisa Crawford is certain she can take that idea and make it a reality — for a price.
Crawford is a luxury entertainment planner based in Hollywood. Through her company, SitInMySeats, she can put together lavish vacation packages, set up celebrity meet-and-greets and locate exclusive front-row tickets to events around the country.
“It’s taken years to get this off the ground, and it wasn’t easy to make all these connections,” said Crawford, who works with talent agents and others across the country to get prime seats for events and meetings with celebrities. “But that’s what people pay me for. I take care of everything for them.”
Her business started 12 years ago when she sold tickets to South Florida sporting events on eBay. Now she has a staff of 10 people and offices in New Jersey, South Carolina and North Carolina.
“I started to develop this huge clientele of people looking for tickets to all kinds of events,” Crawford said. “I got to know them, and some of my more VIP clients started asking me to do travel bookings for them.”
Jill Arnold, of Jacksonville, with help from Crawford, was able to land tickets to a performance of the Broadway show “Spamalot”the year the musical won a Tony Award. “It was impossible to get tickets to that show, but somehow, Lisa had them,” Arnold said. Since then, Arnold has used Crawford’s services to put on an extravagant private birthday party for her husband at the Caesars Palace hotel and casino in Las Vegas. “I never have to worry about anything.”
One South Florida client hired Crawford to help plan the special day when he’ll propose to his girlfriend. The couple will take a hot-air balloon ride across the desert in Dubai, then ride camels to a secluded spot where they will enjoy white-glove food and drink service. A private car will be waiting to take them back to a resort after he pops the big question. The experience will cost him about $65,000. But Crawford said she can work with any budget.
Another couple from Plantation embarked last year on a one-of-a-kind trip to Italy, where Crawford set them up in a private villa at the former home of world-renowned movie and opera director Franco Zeffirelli. The couple spent several days on a private yacht off Italy’s Amalfi Coast. They rounded the trip out with an intimate cooking session with a local Italian couple, cooking and dining with them in their own home.
Crawford works with clients from across the world, and often travels to make sure everything about their trip goes according to plan.
John “Footy” Cross, host of the “Sports Animal” radio show on WINZ, AM940, has Crawford call or sit in on the show every week. “She talks to our listeners about how to get tickets to Dolphins, Heat, Panthers, Marlins games, you name it,” Cross said. She even set up a trip for Cross to see the Yankees play in New York, in seats right next to the dugout. “She had a private car waiting for me everywhere I went, and they already knew where and when I needed to be somewhere,” he said.
